Is new AWS Account Required for Credits?

I already have an AWS account which gets bills every month which I pay. Can I request for Credits in that account or a new account is required?
I require credits to be able to complete this hackathon.
That account uses EC2, S3 and cloudfront only.

    Thanks for reaching out. A new account is not required to participate in this hackathon. You can request credits via the credit request form found on the Resources tab. Best of luck!
